Uploading multiple pictures ... still a time suck
3
Hello, again ...
Several weeks ago I complained about the new Blogger interface, and not being able to upload multiple pictures like I was used to do. Working on my Android phone, I, naively, assumed my problem was related to Android/Blogger.
Now, at home, working from my desktop, Ireally, really had assumed, hoped, and begged that this issue would have been fixed. After all, ifanything was a time suck, multiple steps back, this was it.
Alas! Nothing has changed. Thus, again, my question: why cannot I upload multiple pictures from a folder, only one by one. And why on earth does it only work through Google Photos?
Not all change is good ... this feature lacking from new Blogger is just awful.

Hans, that is just so ridiculous on so many levels. Photos uploaded to blogger have always gone to a "blogger repository," and they do so without waiving copyright. (That includes photos from Google Photos, btw; Blogger makes a copy, which is the one inserted into the blog.)
If you won't tell the developers about this, they will not know it is important.

Hi Hans,
Yes, there is a documented problem with drag & drop.
To insert from Photos, use the option in the editor.

Hi Hans,
I don't like it much either.
Some information os possible usefulness:
1) I hope you complained to the developers by leaving feedback, not just by posting here.
2) You can select and upload multiple images (at least I can). What seems to be missing is the ability to go back to the images uploaded and place them one by one.
3) As a workaround you can find them in the "from this blog" option, at the bottom, after you have uploaded them (even if you never actually placed them in the blog).
Again, I do not for a moment suggest this is a good thing, but I hope some of that might be helpful.
